Long Distance (Client) Relationship
Just a few years ago I worked with buyer clients, pounding the pavement to find the perfect lot and local builder to create their ultimate dream home. So it came as a surprise when just a few years later, these same clients accepted a job offer in another country and were thus moving away from their special custom home.
The house was beautifully appointed with a classic front porch, guest suite, gourmet kitchen, long driveway and detached garage. The piece de resistance was a home theater complete with stadium seating, blackout shades, and dark walls/carpet. All this within walking distance of one of the loveliest parks in town and the charming Sellwood/Westmoreland neighborhood.
With our clients already living out of the country, my team and I were extra hands-on, keeping things in tip top shape to attract a buyer who would love this home as much as our clients did. It was important to keep the updates and communication flowing since our sellers were so far away. The house was beautifully staged to show it to its greatest advantage and we maximized exposure with a series of open houses. We were up for the challenge and made it work.
