I love Portland, and I bet you do too.

Portland is my home town, and you could say I’m kind of crazy about it. I run a website devoted to loving on PDX, I can’t stop writing about adventures I’ve had in Stumptown, and most critically, I’ve chosen to make my home and career here. You have too, obviously, if you’ve ended up here at my website.

I’m constantly running across (or creating, when I can’t find what I need) useful resources and handy guides to help you get to know the city better. Here are a few of my current go-to’s:

Portland Maps My number one tool for researching property. Find permit history, zoning info, tax assessments, crime maps, and more.

National Weather Service Portland Most reliable source for Portland’s constantly changing weather.

Yelp:Portland Crowd sourced reviews of everything from plumbers to pie shops. Indispensable.

Portland Public Schools Info Test scores, program specialties, neighborhood boundaries, etc.

Neighborhoods by the Numbers In depth analysis of PDX ‘hoods, reported annually by Portland Monthly
